How do I add a child to page in a space on confluence cloud?

I have 3 pages set up within a space.  I'm trying to add child pages to each of those pages.  I'm seeing online tutorial's indicating that you click on the "+" next to the page name and it will give you the option to add a child.  

My only options are the ... and when I select I see these options.  How do I go about adding child pages to each  of these projects?  thank you!

You can only add child pages to pages that have been published. The three pages you have are still in Draft mode and that is why you do not see the plus sign.
