How could I install fonts at confluence docker container?

Jongtaek Choi December 21, 2017

I use confluence-server docker container for hosting confluence.

I have a problem that same as below.

Non-ASCII Characters display as square characters in Confluence

So I just copied font files to container's volume /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8-openjdk/jre/lib/fonts/fallback .

But it's not worked. I think I need to install the fonts to container but I don't know how to do it because apt-get isn't install at the container.

If you know the answer, please share with me.

Thank you.

I had a very similar problem -- I needed custom fonts within the container. Here's the guide I followed: basically, all I needed is to reset font caches properly and mount a fonts volume to containers I needed. HTH!

Hi Jongtaek,

Did you try restarting the container?

Jongtaek Choi December 21, 2017

Sure I did. More over I have removed container and run new one.
