Hi @Arihant Raj

You want to create issues from a Confluence table in Jira?

You should be able to...

  • Highlight the table
  • Select the option "+ Create Issue" from the pop-up which appears
  • For a single issue...
    • Populate the Project/Issue Type
    • Confirm the Summary/Description
    • Press Create
  • For multiple issues...
    • Select the hyperlink "Create multiple issues from table"
    • Populate the Project/Issue Type
    • Confirm which column drives Summary/Description
    • Choose the issues to create (checkboxes)
    • Press Create

^ Is this what you're looking for? If not, could you provide more detail in relation to your need?

Maybe that exceeds the basic question. Nevertheless I think it fits best here.

I use the Confluence table with several information columns that are exported after a completed project as documentation.

Based on that I would also need to create tickets with most of the information

1. Summary (one column + part of the page header(reference to the particular project)

2. Description

3. Linked to the Confluence table

4. Component

So far I can choose two columns (Summary and Description)

Furthermore, I would like to automatically place the Jira tickets inside a separate Status column.

So far I read about an Addon Excel table which I can then import to Jira again. But it´s a workaround.

Is there a elegant way to fulfill these or at least most of it?
