We are using the approval plugin in our confluence site and I haven't found a way to link to the latest approved confluence page. One can link to a specific version (that could be an approve one), but that page is then updated and later approved again, the link will still be to the specific version (previous approved).
Is there a way to create a web link that points to the latest approved? Maybe a macro?
Thanks in advance!
Patrik
@Patrik Teppo Welcome to the Atlassian community
What plugin are you using? I would think that the friendly page link would always work. For instance if I have a page Meeting Notes in a space the URL would be https://url.com/display/EPIT/Meeting+notes Then no matter how often it is updated that link always bring up the latest version. Is that not working?
Thanks for the reply!
We are using this plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216387/approvals-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
Say that we have a page with version 10, that has been approved by using this plugin and we make an update of the page to v11. I could explicit link to v10, but say that we then approve v12, this should be one the link points to if possible.
Thanks,
Patrik

@Patrik Teppo The issue is that you are linking to a specific version and not to a specific page. When a version is approved it will still just use the main link to display the most updated page that has been published. As I stated above if you just link to the Confluence page it should display properly as section or page versions are approved.
Can you share an example of the URL you are linking? What are you seeing when you hover over the link?
