It is unclear how I can merge or lookup at tables that exist across different Confluence spaces into a summary 'roll-up' table. The workaround I see includes creating a 'utility' space, where I insert all the table excerpts into Table Transformer from each originating space, where Table Transformer creates the merged table.
From there, I can use that excerpt from that table in other spaces. This seems like an onerous process, but it leaves me with the one resulting table that can be used in a space of choice.
Any insight is appreciated.
Hi @Rolf Kraus ,
If you need to merge your tables placed across different spaces, you may collect these tables by labels and merge them using the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros (tick the "Show as a report table" option in the Table Excerpt Include macro).
To look up tables, you may collect several tables on the same page using the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros, then do the transformation via the Table Transformer macro and then reuse the result table once more - just as you've described in the original question.
OK, thanks. That was the only solution to the puzzle I could see. I appreciate the confirmation on the matter.
