From this morning the space logo which appears next to the title of the wiki space, has suddenly appeared automatically below the header image on the bottom left corner of the header images of wiki space pages.
The new logo is obstructing text on the image.
If this is a new feature, can it be edited by administrators or users who have access to the Space settings >Space details functions? I cant find any editing functions for the image.
Are there any supporting instructions for this new feature?
Sorry, not a fan. The position of image looks misplaced, and the function should be editable.
Thanks.
Hi there,
we have the same problem. We want to remove the space logo in header but the only option that i see is to use an emoji instead -
Base is this update: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Modernized-Content-Topper-Beautiful-amp-Dynamic-Titles/ba-p/2604971/page/3
@Chris Rainey Do you have a idea how can i remove it?
@Franc Forlanoi found a workaround to 'remove' the space logo in header.
Edit Header Image > click emoji > add your own emoji > upload a transparent image > save

Hi @Melena Quast Thank you for your reply and suggestions. Apologies for the late reply.
I suppose then it's a decision of having a logo or not on the title of the article.
I have decided to remove the header image instead and maintain the logo as it, as it seems to replicate the logo and title, and the header image was looking slightly pixelated anyway (I've seen some posts about this issue also - but that's for another day ;)
I will however test your solution in future spaces. It's a shame that Atlassian don't give us a simple option to allow us to choose whether or not to have the logo as visible or not on the title - the one size fits all approach just doesn't work.
Thanks again,
Kind Regards
Franc

Hello @Franc Forlano and welcome to the community.
You can remove Confluence UI furniture by using a theme app. We're using Scroll Viewport on our site because it completely decouples content from Confluence and supports versioning and conditional content, but there are other apps that run right over a public/private space (Refined, Spacecraft...).
These apps make sense if you don't want your users to see Confluence UI.

Thanks @Kristian Klima, our confluence instance is vanilla at best and my understanding of additional themes, etc is very limited. I will mention this to our applications team to see if it's worth exploring as an option. Thank you for the suggestion.

Hi there - To confirm, it is possible to modify the space logo via space details in the space settings. However, to my knowledge, it is not possible to completely remove a space logo and have that be blank.
Could you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Hi @Chris Rainey, Thanks for your response. I have access to change the image for the logo in the Space Details settings. However there is no function within those settings to edit or control this new feature.
I have added a screenshot of the logo next to the title on the left of the screen and what now appears in front of the Header image on the main page display area.
Please advise if you have seen this also and if you can see any editing functions for this feature.
Thanks.

Oh wow. I can't say I've seen that before, that's odd. Can you try removing the logo and then adding it back to see if that helps?

Unfortunately I cant seem to remove the logo at all. I can change it but it seems once a logo has been added it cant be removed.
The "Restore Default" option selects a cropped version of the university logo (not sure where it's picking that image from, otherwise there is only an option to upload a file or select an image from the gallery. This was always the case, however the logo hadn't appeared previously next to the page title.
I've removed the header image from behind the log as a solution for now as as I've tried various options on the editing tools although nothing seems to control the logo.
Thanks for your suggestions.
