How can I prevent anonymous access to the Dashboard?

I want to prevent access to the Dashboard for anonymous users. How can this be configured?

If you have your instance open to anonymous users then they will be able to see the dashboard. You can determine what spaces they see but I believe they get to see the dashboard by default. What you can do is install a redirect plugin which will redirect users to a different page that serves as the dashboard. You can have different dashboards for different groups of users. In your case you can have one that anonymous users see and one that logged in users see.
