How can I make an inline image larger?

Our Confluence was updated recently, and now when I have an inline image I cannot adjust the size. I inserted an inline image in the new interface and it's so small, like 40x40 pixels, that you can barely even tell it's an image. My only option to make the image larger is to select "original size," but then I am no longer able to make the image inline with the text or other images.

How do I adjust the size of an inline image in the new interface?

Edited to add: I realized my screenshot didn't include what my utility menu for images looks like. Here's an example of two inline images next to each other in my document, and there's no way to make them larger. They are objectively too small at around 40 pixels in height.

Hi @Jenn M - I can confirm your findings. It seems impossible to resize an inline image.

However, once you click the inline image in the view mode, it embiggens to its full size.

Yes, it's an extra step but then the text looks neater and more uniformed in height.

I could make inline images neat and uniformed in height before by controlling the size in the utility menu. The size that I'm locked into using now is much too small to be useful visually, and it's also an accessibility issue because of the less than a minimum 24 pixel target size.

Hi @Jenn M

If you edit the image you should get the option to resize. I wish they would stop mucking with this, but you have both the link, org size, then the choose your own size, in the below example, I have 460 x 287. Click on the numbers and you can edit them.  Not the most user-friendly way I've seen.

Hi @Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM - it seems that resizing only work when you exit the inline more... the moment you convert the image to inline, you're loosing the option to change the size.

I agree they're messing around with the defaults. Not so long ago, you could just drop the image in between words and make it inline automatically.

To my surprise, I couldn't do that - it defaulted to the next available paragraph break and I had to a) convert it to inline, b) place it manually to where I want it to be....

The way I figured this was inline or link mode has no size adjustment.  Only using that next icon gives you the ability to put in the numbers for the dimension.
