If you're looking for analytics in Confluence we've built an add-on specifically for the job. It includes an overview of activity, shows you who has viewed each page and more. It also doesn't require you to manually add a code snippet to each page.

Not sure if you already found a good solution by now.
Our engineer created a plugin for our internal use previously, to connect GoogleAnalytics with Confluence Cloud, as there's little analytics available on Cloud.
We saw that many people have the same problems like we did, so in early March we decided to publish the plugin in the marketplace. It's free at the moment, so give it try, maybe it helps.
