We often produce architecture documents and diagrams in confluence and then need to be able to share them with a wider audience. The problem is when we export the diagram the resolution is too low and nobody can read the contents of the diagrams in the document. This results in me needing to export the corresponding image diagrams so the solution can be understood.
How can I ensure that when the file is exported the image files are still readable, with the same diagrams. the reader may need to zoom but tha tis not a concern.
Atlassian where is a fix for this. This is a paid product and if it displays fine in Confluence it should display fine in the export or the feature is useless. There should be a fix by now.
Been more than 3 years since this was raised :(
Has anyone got a work around for this situation ??? The above link also looks like it has not been fixed :(

Hi @Daniel Park
Can you try workaround mentioned on this Bug
You can customize exports to PDF by changing the orientation as well, see it that helps too.
There's also a suggestion to improve resolution of images in the PDF export, you can vote for it and start watching for updates.

The suggestion you mentioned to vote on relates to displaying pdfs that are attached to the confluence page.
Do you know of any suggestion to improve the resolution of the PDF exported from a confluence page?

There's a suggestion raised Exporting pages to PDF will use lower resolution for images which is currently in Short Term Backlog status. You can vote for it and watch it for further updates.
