How can I have Watchers receive Email Notification for Parent/Child page set in a Confluence space?

I currently have a space where I need the Watchers to see any time a child page is created for a subset of pages within a space.
(I have a landing page for a meeting series and want watchers to get a notification anytime a new child page is created from a template for a new individual meeting notes page.)

Issues:

  1. Watching the full space will send too many unrelated emails.
  2. Watching the Parent page will not send the email each time a child page is added due to the Child Page Tree Macro auto-updating but not counting as a change for the watched page.

Any thoughts on how to set watchers on a newly created page from a template, or trigger the notification emails at any lower watcher-level than the full space?

@C-Jadyn.Murphy welcome to the Atlassian community

There is no way to do this in the manner in which you would like.  You can watch a space or pages but not a specific tree.  If a user has access to a space and is watching it the will only get notifications for pages that they have permission to.  If I only have permission to see a single tree then I would only get notifications for that tree.

There might be an app in the marketplace but I am not aware of that.
