How can I export group members to an excel file without a direct db query?

I understand from previous questions that it used to be possible to export a list of the members of a group into an Excel file.  Where would this feature be located?

I am on Confluence cloud and I am working with groups under Directory->Groups.

I can put a list on a page, but that doesn't get me what a want - an Excel file where each group member is on a separate line.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Ellen Krischer

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

You can get that information from https://admin.atlassian.com, if you have sufficient access.

After access that page, select your site.

Then select Users under User Management. That should display a list of users for your site.

There should be an Export Users button above the list. Click it.

You can then select the setting for exporting uses from specified group(s). This process will create a CSV file that you can open in Excel.

Thanks - that worked!  But a couple of notes about possible future improvements:

-- The 'Export button' is not obvious to find unless you know it is there as it is hidden under the "..."

- From an 'ease of use' standpoint, the export function for groups should live on the "groups" menu.  It is not at all intuitive that you would look under a menu for all users when you want a listing for groups.

Thanks again.
