Hello! I am just having a heck of a time getting this heading excluded from my Confluence TOC. The heading is XXXX-XX-XX.
I tried ^XXXX-XX-XX% based on some other Community articles I read but it isn't working.
Please help, I am mad at Confluence. :) Thank you!
Lauren
The delimeter is not a comma, but a pipe operator: `|`
If you want to exclude several headings, use:
```
Index|Other Header|References
```
@Lauren Church Welcome to the Atlassian Community. You can exclude specific headers from the Table of Contents Macro by selecting Advanced in the ToC Macro editor and typing in the text contained in the heading you want excluded.
The sequence of screenshots below show before, during editing, and after to remove Heading 5 from the ToC:
I hope this helps!

Hey @Andy Gladstone , thanks for the reply! It's not as helpful in this instance. So, I'm making a list where dates in Heading 2 format need to be shown except XXXX-XX-XX because that one is the template. It's why I was hoping to pop in something that would eliminate that kind of entry but not all sections with that kind of heading. :)

Sorry, I don't have any further advice on this. Seems that yours is a bit of an edge use case and not what the ToC exclusions were designed for. Good luck!
