How can I default Confluence, not JIRA, as the start application when logs in?

城子 江 April 8, 2020

We have confluence & JIRA.

But when I login from id.atlassian.com, then the website will redirect to the https://xxxx.atlassian.net/secure/BrowseProjects.jspa which is the default page of jira. but I want to access the confluence as my default application. That is to say, when I login in,I want to access the https://xxxx.atlassian.net/wiki.

So how can I do that?

Hi @城子 江 ,

As a site admin, you can choose the product that your users see first when they log in to your site. We refer to this as your site's landing product.

Should anyone still have this issue on the end of 2023, now its quite easy to change this behaviour.

Currently (nov 2023) the setting can be changed in:

1) Login to Attlassian and switch to Confluence
2) click on the gear symbol in the top right corner (left of your profile picture)
 * now you should be in "General Configuration", "Site Configuration" or something like that
3) on the left panel, scroll down to the last item "Application Navigation"
4) in this view you can resort the apps, so move Confluence to the top - and thats it ;)
