How can I customize the main navigation in Confluence?

Is there a way to customize the main navigation? We use Confluence company-wide, and for non-core users, the items often cause confusion.

Additionally, I would like to replace the Confluence logo with our logo.

As for the look and feel... you have two options:

- full site with apps like Scroll Viewport and the rest of the K15t's Scroll apps family with a ton of extra functionality (Viewport allows you to create public content without ever making your spaces public)

- a simple skin on top of Confluence with apps like Spacecraft  (Spacecraft is free)

@Philipp Ruiter Just to clarify a bit, Spacecraft will indeed allow you to customize the appearance of Confluence and the way the navigation is presented, but it's only for public spaces, such as public documentation or knowledge bases.

It's not possible to hide the out of the box items along the top navigation bar (Home, recent, Spaces, etc), but I see in the screenshot "We are", "Departments" and "Clients" which looks like the app Navigation menu. If that's the case, you may want to create different menus based on user groups. For example if Accounting or Facilities management are not core users, you could create different menus for those groups as they aren't looking to navigate to the same content.

You can change the Confluence logo:

1. Click on the Cog button 
2. Look for the "Look and feel" option
3. Click on Site logo and favicon
