I have a page holding a table of items which take up a lot of space, ie, the reader has to scroll down through a lot of information to find the info they want.
How can I create a list (eg, content list) of links, that will take the person clicking to that particular item of information within the same page.
As @Nicolas Grossi suggested, the Table of Contents macro would work great if you add headings to each of your items and position the TOC macro at the top of the page.
Anchors also work if you need to point the users to a specific part of the content (not only the beginning of a paragraph)

Sorry folks, can't quite work it out. I can see the item when editing the page but not sure how to add items or text to show up on screen that the user can then click to take them to a particular section within the page?

Its ok folks, I've managed to work it out. I replaced my Normal text with Heading text, then created the Table of context, and it automatically picked up my new Heading text
