I have a content slider on a page that will only align to the left. I can center the Header text above it and can center the slides in the content slider in the edit view. However, when it is 'updated' to the published view, the content slider stays locked to the left alignment. I want to center the slider (under the 'Most Recent Winner' text).
Hi @Joe Brink and welcome to the Community
If I follow correctly... there are several things to check. Page width and alignment within the general Confluence UI.
Then this
One controls the text alignment, the other page title's alignment.
And finally... if the element such as image occupies the entire width of the available page column, you cannot align it because it has nowhere to go left/right. Once you make it smaller, the alignment control reappears.
Hi @Kristian KlimaKlima, thanks for the quick response. I checked the things you mentioned, but I am still having the issue. When I change it to fixed-width, the content slider is centered, but all text and other elements are centered (and squished a bit). So, I want the page to be full-width so other text and elements (like expand container and bullet lists) are aligned left. However, I want the content slider, specifically, to be centered. The images are smaller than the page/column width. When I click on the slider to align it (from the top left align icon), it is grayed out so I can't center it. When I add individual images (not in a slider), though, it will be auto-centered.

Oh... Content Slider is an app (a facet of a app), isn't it :)
Image Slider for Confluence?
If it's so, here's the docs - https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IMG/pages/215679213/User+Guide+-+Cloud
The thing with apps is that unless other people have them installed and such, it's hard to offer a more specific help.
I'd look at the docs and then simply experiment what combination of my settings works best.

Hi @Kristian Klima,
Thanks for the docs. Following up since I am still having issues. I am able to find and set up the image slider per your docs (ie. I can select images, set width/height, etc.). However, when I click 'Insert', the pop up window closes and nothing appears on the page.
I tried it on a different page and browser and still have the same issue. Another colleague tried and the same issue happened, as well. Is there something we can do to fix this or is it a bug?

Hi @Joe Brink
I'm sorry but I'm not using this app so can't really help you with practical troubleshooting :(
I think you've tried everything you could think so it's probably time to get in touch with Appfire support https://appfire.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/11 and just ask for help.
