I have a question about creating specific charts to track the progress of a project over the months. I need to generate a graph that shows the number of closed subtasks per month, i.e., the percentage of completed subtasks relative to the total, month by month. However, I have been having difficulties setting up this type of chart in Jira and would like to enlist the team's help to find a viable solution.

The chart I'm trying to create would serve to monitor the project's progression, highlighting the number of closed subtasks in each monthly period. I've tried various approaches, including using options for creating and resolving subtasks, but I've encountered obstacles, mainly because all subtasks were created on the same date. Additionally, analysis by hours or story points hasn't proved suitable for this purpose.

My intention is to develop a simple and informative chart that illustrates the evolution of closed subtasks over time, month by month. However, I haven't yet found an efficient way to realize this idea. I've reviewed the options available in the 'Chart by,' 'Group by,' and 'Calculate' features but haven't found an option that fully meets my needs.

The JQL I'm using seems to be correct since the returned data aligns with expectations.

project = "Project name" AND issuetype = Sub-task AND assignee in ("User1", "User2") AND labels in ("label1", "label2", "label3", "label4", "label5", "label6")

However, the challenge lies in finding the correct option to generate the desired type of chart. I've noticed that there isn't a clear option for "closed" or "completed" in the available settings. Has anyone else faced this same challenge or have any suggestions for overcoming it?

I appreciate your collaboration and guidance in advance!

Team, you can close this issue now. I managed to create this graph using the 'Resolved' field, which allows me to list all items closed per month. Thank you!
