Historical data on usage statistics in confluence

Dennis Hansen April 16, 2018

I've activated Jira Confluence plugin Usage Statistics to see the Global activity tab in General configurations.

But it does'nt show any historical data, only need changes/updates are being registered - is there anyway to get historical data into this usage statistics?

Hi Dennis,

It's not possible to get historical data using the Usage Stats plugin. The only data which will be shown is from after the add-on was enabled.

Let us know if you have any questions about that.

I am afraid that Confluence do not store this when this plugin is disabled. You would need to keep it running for some time to see some statistics.

No, because it's not been captured.

The add-on you have enabled is the code that captures the activity information, as well as reporting on it.
