Header of table cannot be copied (server)

Kristin Beck February 10, 2021

Dear community,

we have faced the following problems, which hinders our customers from copying attributes from certain tables:

As you can see below hereheader cannot be copied.png , the heading row (PLOT_FK) cannot be copied individually.

As you cann see here heading row can be copied.png, this doesn't happen for every table. Yet, we chose the same format, and the second table with "interface" in the first column, is located in the same space as "PLOT_FK".

We'd be happy if you could help out here!

Many thanks.

Kristin

The Confluence editor is/ was not great, especially when copy-pasting tables.
It got better in more recent versions but still, what you're trying to achieve is simply not possible.

It should work better when you're in the page edit mode. I tested on v7.3.4 and I'm able to copy table headers just fine when in edit mode.

Here is a feature request you can vote for: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-56411

Thanks, Charlie! The problem for us still remains outside the edit mode. Since our customers cannot "edit", they must copy tables from the wiki page itself and hence, the issue is unresolved for us.
