It's a small Google doc - 2 pages. I used to upload the same doc every week without issues. This is not a size problem.

I am also experiencing this issue. Is there a problem with the Google to Jira connector? I have tried several times and keep getting the error message: 'This file can't be imported. We ran into issues because the file may be the wrong type, password protected, or read-only.' However, none of these issues seem to apply to my file.

Same issue with trying to import a Google Doc as reported here

Jira support noted that this issue has been triaged to the long-term backlog and it may not be fixed for weeks. There is no visible ETA for fixing this bug. In the meantime, please use the import docx function as a workaround.
Interesting to see that Jira is not really prioritizing customer reported issues.
