Google doc is not accessible from Confluence- widget connector

Hello,

I'm trying to embed a Google doc in my Confluence page using the widget connector macro, but when I publish the page, it says that  'this document is not published' . I was successful embedding a Google slide document using another instance of widget connector. What am I missing? The Google doc is shared with everyone who has the link. Thanks!

just a guess, but maybe there might be something wrong with the url or the documents view permissions are restricted?

just a question: Why are you using the widget connector?
You should be able to just paste the google docs link to the page and then switch the display mode to embed, by clicking on the docs/drive logo

Hi @Kai Becker , thanks for the replies! The URL is fine. And you're right, I can just paste the link to the Google doc. I have the same issue though... I think it may be related to the sharing permissions of the Google doc, but I haven't found a solution yet :-( .
