Hi gang!
A team lead wants to sync the retro page in Confluence with the Sprint in Jira. Specifically, get the date in "Sprint goal" to appear on the Confluence retro page. And I am looking for a way to do this without using 3rd Party Plugin.
How could we do that without coping manually?
Could we use smartvalues somehow on the page to reference the Sprint goal?
I know there is an API way to access the Sprints, but how would we display the data on the Confluence page?
Thanks,
KGM
will you be able to guide on on retrieving goal in jira in confluence, once the goal is set. Thank you.
Great exercise you got there!
Well, with out of the box functionalities I managed to get the sprint goal into confluence (semi-automatic) using:
But before telling the solution I've came up with, I got to ask you how were you thinking that this should work? I mean, you want this to happen automatically when you finish the sprint?

I've managed to achieve only the first part, without the updating thing. This needs a bit more thinking..

@Alex Koxaras _Relational_ What was your solution for getting the Sprint Goal in a confluence page? The only solution I can think of is to use a Confluence HTML Macro with javascript calling the jira API.
