Getting rid of "quickstart" in confluence cloud

I'm taking a look at confluence cloud and I cannot figure out how to get rid of the green "quickstart" checklist in my spaces. I cannot seem to remove it, I can minimise it but often comes back on a reload and takes half the screen.

I've tried ticking all the boxes, creating a new space and going through all the settings I can think of.

Any way to get rid of it? Doesn't seem like something I would want there forever.

Hello @plassus !

After you finish the checklist, you should be able to click the "Dismiss quickstart" option that is located at the bottom of the quickstart section.

This is what it looks like:

For me to finish all the steps, I did not need to actually do what was being asked. Just clicking to do so and then returning to the page greenlighted it.

Fabulous! Found it! Turns out there was a bar along the top offering me a free trial. This shifted everything on the screen down and the "Dismiss" button was pushed off the bottom.

I managed to dismissed the quick start button.

BUT, PLEASE, REMOVE THIS QUICK START BUTTON! I know where to start!

Hey there , I have the same problem but can't accomplish the "Invite your teammates" element. It always raises a JS Errors in the browser console.
Dismiss button doesn't help to get ride of it. Any ideas?

A late update - I got in touch with the developer team and they confirmed it was a bug and it has been fixed two months ago.

Well, they haven't actually fixed it apparently. We just transitioned from self-hosted to cloud and now this ridiculous thing hovers on every page. My "Quickstart" annoyance has four items in it and I can only clear 2 of them. Seems like anyone with even a small amount of intelligence would have programmed it to be removeable WITHOUT having to slog through "tutorials" since they're useless anyway unless you are on day one of using the software.

Hey, let's make something really AWESOME.  Just like Clippy!  YEAH!  Anyone remember Clippy?  It was awesome.  Atlassian must of took a page out of MS playbook.  So next step is:  Due to unpopular demand, Clippy has been disabled, then removed.  yep still waiting for that in 2023
