I am unable to add the attachment to the JIRA project as I am getting error as - You do not have permission to create attachments for this project.

Hi @Priyanka Anil Ingle you may want to check if you have the permission to add an attachment. Check the permission scheme for your project. There you find the permission "Create Attachments". 
You may also have disabled attachments globally, and if you have administrator permissions, you may change it like that:

  • Administration -> System -> Attachments
  • Click on "Edit Settings and enable Attachments
