Getting actual HTML (not storage or Atlas doc) body of a page via v2 REST API

I'm currently switching from v1 to v2 of the REST API for a client. At the moment, we are fetching the content of pages, and importing them into a CMS to render elsewhere.

With v1 of the API, you could fetch the HTML body of the page content. However, with v2, it's only documented as allowing either Storage or Atlas Doc formats.

Whilst Storage format does contain the HTML, it also contains macro markup, so this is causing issues when importing into the CMS. Is it no longer possible to fetch the raw HTML?

Referencing these docs.

Hi @Steve Perry ,

While the v2 API is published, it is not ready and does not have feature parity with the older API.

Thanks for the response.

The v1 endpoints (some) are marked as deprecated in the docs, with a note to use v2, so it's a bit disappointing if it's not actually ready.

Yes, they are marked deprecated, but the deprecation has already been postponed once, and Atlassian promised to push back the deprecation as long as v2 is not covering the v1 functionality.

Understood. Thanks for your insight.
