Getting access to random people spaces

Hi,

I'am currently being able to see a space from a user (Alice Olenich) which I don't know. Also, every time I try to create a page in Research Computer Space it redirects me to this person's space, so I'am not able to create any page in my work space.

As far as I understand, there are some aspects related to the issues you are facing:

  • Regarding the visibility of a space from a user that you don't recognize, it might be affected by the permission settings. The Confluence admin might have given all users access to certain spaces, or that space might be set to allow access to anyone within your organization or a particular group you're part of.
  • About the redirect issue when creating a page in the 'Research Computer' space, most of the time, it happens due to the fact that you are not granted permission to add/edit/create content to that space. To tackle this, you may need to contact the space admin to review the space permission settings in order to proceed further.

Thank you for your reply. I did sat with the space admin and tried the following steps:

However it seems it didn't work.

Do you have another reference to recommend?

This is a feedback on this issue.

I was able to get the permission although I didn't change anything in the global settings. I wonder if took more than one day for the space settings change to propagate? 

But anyways it is all good now and I appreciate your help.
