Hello,
I have a JIRA project, once in, I navigate to the Releases, I then go to the version, then click 'Release Notes' at the top of the screen.
Once there, there is an option to:
The text area below allows the project release notes to be edited and copied to another document.
Is there any way to use the Jira Filter plugin to put the release notes into Confluence with out doing a manual cut and paste?
What would be the jql I would use? Search on the version name?
Share the syntax please?
OR
Is there a better way?
Thanks,
Victor
Hello Victor,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this.
I believe you can achieve this in the Jira Issues Macro if you:
See Create a Change Log for more details.
Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Shannon

Hi @AER IT Procurement, this is Sujeet from Amoeboids. We have an app in the Atlassian marketplace that can serve your use case - Automated release notes for Jira.
Here you can generate release notes in confluence and even other different formats such as Email, PDF, Slack, PowerPoint, etc., and automate their delivery to relevant stakeholders through rule Automation.
If you are on the cloud, we even have a free version of this app to get you started quickly.
Do check out and reach out here if you need any further information.
Thanks,
Sujeet
