Hey guys, how are you?
Is there any way to get the IP of the user accessing the confluence datacenter? The version I have, by default, already captures, but it is the balancer's IP, and I need to collect the origin IP of whoever is accessing a page within confluence. Would a solution via configuration in tomcat be possible?
Thank you very much
I had a similar issue and ended up checking the reverse proxy logs instead, since Confluence itself doesn't show the user's real IP without extra setup. That’s also how I figured out someone was using an IP Stresser on our server—only showed up in the proxy logs because the actual IPs were lost behind our load balancer setup.
