Get Full Width Pages in New Editor

David Steinwedel June 6, 2019

How do I get full width pages using the new editing mode in Confluence? I don't understand why I can only use 1/3 of my screen real-estate.

You cannot its F***ing stupid.

Your options are to copy a page that uses the old editor or put your content into a table and make it "full width" by clicking on that arrow thing on the end of the table...

Fair warning full width is not actually full with for some crazy reason its like 80% of the page (24 in 4k monitor).  You can also use page columns...  but since they got rid of the single column option you have to use 2 columns.

Both of those options suck so i just instructed all our users to copy pages... and try not to hurt themselves when the face-palm themselves reading my recommendation.

In the latest Confluence cloud, under settings, there is a Further Configuration section with a check box for 'Editor Full Width'.  Does checking this solve your issue?
