Using the information here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/chart-macro-163415075.html

I created the attached gnatt chart.

I keep getting "Requires end >= start." if the dates are in the same year.  A year out it works, but the date headings are nonsense.

  • How do I get the dates to work in the same year without being told the end date needs to be greater than or equal to the start date (it is).
  • How do I get the date columns at the top to be accurate?
  • It would be great if you could give exacts to put in the parameters.  I read through the Atlassian documentation, entered dates where I thought it made sense, and got the same results.

Many, many, many thanks in advance.

Edit the Gantt chart settings Date to reflect capital letters for month - MM/dd/yyyy. This resolved the error for me.

As a workatound you can try Chart from Table Gantt chart if you have Table Filter and Charts add-on installed.

I don't have the permissions to download any add-ons and the admis aren't likely to pay for it.   Any idea how to get the out-of-the-box gnatt chart macro working as illustrated?   Using Atlassian's documenation it doesn't render as expected (unusable).  Any input is aprreciated!
