From a confluence page, how can I embed (a part of) a file in a Bitbucket repository?

David Bakin July 13, 2015

I know I can do a link to a page.  What I'm really interested in is embedding an excerpt of a source file (e.g., lines 25-35 of a particular source file on a particular branch) in a Confluence page, so that it is live and changes when the source code is changed.  It would sort of make Confluence more useful for documentation purposes if I could, e.g., describe an enum type and then have the actual current definition of that enum type embedded in the page below the description.  Given that are source is in Bitbucket that seems a reasonable integration, but I can't find it.  Thanks!

Hi David, as far as I know this embed feature is not presented on Cloud Platform, but there's already a request for it:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-29698

I know that this is not a concrete resolution, but at least we have a improvement raised to dev team. smile

Cheers,
