For some of the Confluence pages I want to edit, I am unable to upload files (other users are having the same problem). I have updated pages like this many times before, but some weeks ago I started to see this issue.
Also, I am the creator of the page I am trying to edit so I find it strange that I cannot upload files in there.
@Maria Dima The permissions to add and delete attachments in a space are separate from the permissions to view and edit the page. Ask your space administrator to check Space settings > Space access for your user or the group you belong to see whether you have the Add permission in the Attachments column.
See this page for details: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/assign-space-permissions/
Hi @Maria Dima
Are you getting an error message or they just don't upload? Can you explain how you are uploading? Drag and drop, using the add attachment macro, or other?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I tried to upload it by both ways. The drag and drop option seems to be disabled and when I use the add attachment macro I can see a message that says "You'll need to ask permission to insert files here."
The thing is that I am the creator of that page so I dont know why I am seeing that message. This is happening with multiple pages, not only the ones I created. Also, I asked to other users if they could upload files but they are encountering the same issue. In the past I used to upload files all the time so I dont know what could have changed.
