For a new template how to add status macro in the page property table

Manisha Agarwala September 13, 2023

I have created a new page template. I want to be able to update the status between start and done using the status macro. I am not sure how to do that.

Hello @Manisha Agarwala and welcome!  If I understand you correctly, all you would need to do is add the Status Macro to your template.  Then when you use the template and are editing the page, add in your desired status....

If I'm off the mark of what you are asking, can you elaborate?

In my template, I have instantiated the status macro and it says "Review" and the color is yellow. Now when the review is complete, I want the capability to change that to "Done" and the color change to green,

But I cannot figure out how to add the capability to change it.

@Manisha Agarwala - Welcome to the community! Once you add the status macro, it should ask you what color and text to add. See screenshot.

So this table is a part of several deliverable tracking. What i want is a method to say

initially it is "Review" - it will be in color yellow as shown below, and this is what is in the page property. Now when the review is complete, i want to have a selection of "Done" where the color changes to a green and the text says DONE. I don't want someone to say "COMPLETE", someone else say "FINISHED" and someone says "Done". I want three choices basically

It is like a /variable_name, except it is for status macro.

Is that a capability that exists..

Hope I am being able to articulate my question properly. thanks.
