Font

Luc Grangier February 9, 2021

We published an article in Confluence, which is available in Jira Serve Desk Cutomer portal too. We have as default Microsoft Edge web browser. Some people doesn't  see the same fonts in the article as others. For example, on my session, the font coming from the style.css is applied with these values

  1. font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', 'Roboto', 'Oxygen', 'Ubuntu', 'Fira Sans', 'Droid Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;"

but these values are not the same on other computers. We are on a corporate network, and users are not allowed to install custom fonts on the computer. Why do we have such differences?

Hi Luc,

Over the last few days we started seeing reports of fonts in the Service Desk Customer Portal being delivered incorrectly to users in Europe. For those users, it seems that using a VPN endpoint in the US for example seems to allow the fonts to deliver correctly. I think this is the issue you're seeing now, which also might explain the inconsistency between users at your organization.

We are currently tracking this issue at JSDCLOUD-9708 and will post more updates on that issue when they become available. Watching that issue on our public Jira instance will be the best way to stay updated on progress.

Thanks,
