Filter in Page Property Report based on values?

paul_finnedison February 15, 2025

Hi all,

I would like to use the "Page Property Report" macros to get only entries hat do have a specific value in one of the Properties.

Is there a way to do so (without another Plugin)?

I only see the possibility to filter based on different attributes of the whole page, not of the properties them self. That seems strange to me - do I miss something?

I'm using Confluence 8.5.2.

Hi @paul_finnedison ,

As far as I know, you cannot just filter content based on Page Properties macro in pages you're 'pulling'. However, you should be able to use "Including text"/"Contains text" filter. Note that this will 'scan' the whole page and not just the content inside Page Properties macro.

Also, this is a screenshot from the cloud, but there should be "Including text" filter on 8.5.X versions and above.

There are some open suggestions related to your requirement so you might want to check them out. For example CONFSERVER-78642: Filter on specific page property in a page properties report

Apart from that, I don't believe you'll be able to do more than it natively, without using some third-party apps (if these exist).

Cheers,
Tobi
