External Links in Roadmap Planner

I am trying to link a bar to an external web page and NOT a page that resides in my Confluence space. Is this possible? If so, I cannot get it to work

'link to a bar' - clarification needed

 

You should be able to include external links with no issues (depending on what your goal is)

In the Roadmap Planner, the clicking of a bar will only take you to a page within that Confluence space, unfortunately. So I created a page on the site and added HTML macro with redirect instructions to an external page but that unfortunately results in the page owner will not allow its content to be displayed in a frame. Somehow, Confluence will only display the external redirect data in a frame - which wont display properly
