For some reason, any table that I insert into a blank Confluence page looks like the attached image. Any idea why it looks like this?
@Felipe Andrés Galdames Ibacache Your question seems related to this one: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Tables-in-PDF-exports-have-3D-effect/qaq-p/2889305
See the response there from someone from Atlassian.
Hi @Felipe Andrés Galdames Ibacache welcome to the community! That is how Atlassian displays their tables with that shading on the left and the right.
CONFCLOUD-79641 on Atlassian's Jira Site would be your issue. The ticket refers to using a macro, but I would contend it is for any table that is exported. If you look at the table on your Confluence page, the left and right shading is there as well.
I would suggest voting for and watching that ticket for updates. I voted for it too.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info!
I'll definitely be checking for any updates as this affects most of my organization's documents and we only just noticed recently when we tried exporting one to PDF.
Cheers mate
