Hi,
I want to set up different sections using the Expand macro, like the image below, but not sure how to set it up. For example, I have different tests, and want to create test 1 then if user clicks to test 1 then the content will be displayed, the same as for test 2, but all these are in the same section/table. Can you please advise? Thank you
For now this is where I am at, try to move around but can not. Thank you for your help.
Hi @Tammy Duong ,
Talking about 3rd party apps: maybe it happens so that you have our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app installed (you may search for Table Filter, Pivot Table, Table Transformer macros, for example).
Then you may use our Table Spreadsheet macro as a workaround: insert it on the page (it will look like a regular spreadsheet) and create several sheets. These sheets can be accessed from the page view mode, you can rename them and use as substitutes for tabs.
Maybe this workaround will do the trick.
Hi @Tammy Duong and welcome to the Community.
To display tabs, you'd have to use an app and it's very likely it would be one set of apps per page.
You can use the Layouts features to achieve a similar results.
This is what it looks like:
And this is how to do it:
Limitation: obviously, your content is narrower due to the column layout.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Tammy Duong
If you're looking to use Confluence’s built-in features, @Kristian Klima's suggestion might be the most straightforward solution for you.
However, if you're open to exploring third-party solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, there are some great options available. @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ has mentioned a few, and there are two main types of tools you might consider for creating tabs:
The solutions I mentioned stand out by making tab creation super easy with a simple, single-menu interface—no extra containers needed. They also let you apply your company's branding colours and support advanced features like nesting expand macros and other Confluence formatting elements.
Please feel free to reach out if you need more information or have any questions :) (my team developed these tools I mentioned)

Hi @Tammy Duong ,
These 'tabs' as shown in the first image aren't supported in Confluence. At least not yet.
I've tried searching for any open suggestions but I don't think there's one specifically for your requirement. Although, feel free to take a second look. You could also contact Atlassian Support with this and have them take a second look. If there isn't a suggestion related to this, they can open a new one. (feel free to share it here if you get a link)
As an alternative, you could maybe take a look at some of Marketplace apps. I didn't test that many of those but I believe AURA and Optics do support this feature.
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ It happened again :)
It takes some time creating those screenshots :D

@Kristian Klima I think it's becoming a problem 😂
We'll maybe have to create a schedule for who's online and when to know (not) to start writing answers 😅
