Hello out there,
I would like to freeze the first line of a table made with the excel plugin. How can I make this work please?
I couldn´t find a thread describing this problem. The found results where all abut the normal confluence table.
Greetings :)
I'm not sure if you mean the Office Excel macro or the Excel for Confluence app by Bob Swift by saying about the excel plugin.
But in both cases you can try to use our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence. Its Table Filter macro has the option to freeze rows and columns both for original Confluence tables and for the tables created with the help of other macros/apps.
Hello Katerina,
I ment the Excel PlugIn for Confluence by AppTeq. Is this the one by Bob Swift?

Do you mean the Excellentable Spreadsheet for Confluence by AddTeq? Cause I couldn't get any results for the AppTeq on the Marketplace.
If it is, then you can read their docs https://www.addteq.com/exc/user-guide/faqs-how-to-use-excellentable/how-to-freeze-rows (they have section related to freezing).
And originally I meant this app.

I got an answer by AppTeq. It says: Select the second row and click freeze pane. Simple like that :D Thank you!

Also, you can look at :

Is there a way to improve concurrent exccel spreadsheet editing on confluence? I have many excel docs that are uploaded to confluence, but the shared editing is not feasible. If edit using the atlassian plugin, you run the risk of squashing the edits of someone else, who also updated the same doc and uploaded it. Is this really a gap, or am I missing something?

Hi @gregscher
For collaborative editing of excel sheets in confluence, you can try our plugin Excellentable
