Ex-Administrator still receiving notifications

One of the old admins for our page is still getting notifications about updates made across the Confluence site. How do we stop this from happening?

Have you removed that user from the site-admins group?

Have you disabled/toggled off Confluence product access or even Site Access for that user?

In case the old admin remains an employee of your company, then site and product access cannot be disabled of course.

He will continue to receive notifications for every space he has created or any page or space he's watching. In that case, you'll need to remove him as space admin and replace him by someone else.
