A colleague tried to save a document in Confluence, and got a system error stating the following:
org.springframework.orm.hibernate.HibernateSystemException: could not delete: [com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Draft#15467641]; nested exception is net.sf.hibernate.HibernateException: could not delete: [com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Draft#15467641]
at org.springframework.orm.hibernate.SessionFactoryUtils.convertHibernateAccessException(SessionFactoryUtils.java:597)
caused by: net.sf.hibernate.HibernateException: could not delete: [com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Draft#15467641]
at net.sf.hibernate.persister.EntityPersister.delete(EntityPersister.java:607)
caused by: net.sf.hibernate.StaleObjectStateException: Row was updated or deleted by another transaction (or unsaved-value mapping was incorrect) for com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Draft instance with identifier: 15467641
at net.sf.hibernate.persister.AbstractEntityPersister.check(AbstractEntityPersister.java:513)
Any clues to what the issue might be?
From the stack trace it appears that two users were editing the same page at the same time. Is it possible to refresh the browser and try to edit it one more time?
Thanks for your response, Guilherme.
You're most likely correct, he was able to edit the document after receiving the error. I should have drawn the same conclusion from the error as well. Too busy googling the error rather than just reading it carefully first.
