Hello Support,

we using a Confluence server version 7.9.1 with a Maria DB (Version 10.5.8). We want to upgrade to Confluence version 7.20.3. After the upgrade, we got a error message:

Maria DB Error Message:

Aborted connection 49 to db: 'confludb' user: 'confluence' host: 'localhost' (Got an error writing communication packets)

We see under supported platforms > Maria DB is not working anymore:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf720/supported-platforms-1168862619.html

Do you have a tool for migrating the Maria DB to MySQL8 or can you provide us with support?

Hi @Daniel Landmann

There's documentation on how to change your DB.

You can find the documentation here.
