HI,
I have tried to export a confluence page to PDF. There is sometype of compilation taking place but, at two occasions on two different pages, the PDF document turned out to be empty. As if nothing was exported.
Is there an explanation ?
Thanks
You don't mention if you are Cloud or Server.
I have seen addons make exporting to a pdf troublesome, as mentioned in the links @Dan Breyen provided.
You are right.
The PDF export worked after retrying a few hours later. Weird though that initially a pdf compilation seemd to be in the works, only to show an empty page once downloaded. It would be better to advise the user that the report is not available yet.

Hi @Pierre Bosisio welcome to the community. There could be a variety of things going on. Does it happen on all pages that you export? Are there some pages that work and others that do not? Do all users have the same issue trying to export this page? Have you tried a different browser? If it's that specific page, can you temporarily alter the content and get it to export?
I was looking at Atlassian's Jira page (jira.atlassian.com) and found these issues: CONFCLOUD-76793 or CONFCLOUD-76240 or CONFCLOUD-76304
I don't have more information about your page to know for sure if one of these could be the issue, but if it is, feel free to vote for and watch it for updates.

I had similar issues on two occasions uploading PDF files to Confluence Cloud. In those instances, there was apparently a connectivity or communication issue with their server. No diagnostic error message was given though.
I waited a few hours, and the uploads worked. I hope that helps.
