How can I embed an Outlook email.msg file into a confluence page?

If I do it the usual way and click on the icon (with the msg file) after publishing, I get a jumble of numbers.
The msg file is valid and can generally be opened and read. But after embedding it in a confluence page, it no longer works.

Thank you very mutch in advance for your assistance!

@Breitkopf, Peter I'm not sure if this is what you are hoping to achieve, but I just tried this:

  1. In blank paragraph, click Add image, video, or file icon on editor toolbar.
  2. Navigate to and select a .msg file and click Open. The file thumbnail is displayed on the page.
  3. Publish the page.
  4. Go to the page Attachments and try to view the file—this cannot be done (We can't preview this file…).
  5. Go back to view the page, where the file looks like this:
    MSGfile_ViewConfluencePage.png
  6. Click the blue box above. The email message file opens (like the image preview when you click on an image) but you can select the text.

ClickedMSGFile.png

When I go back into Edit mode, this little box contains a swirling circle that never stops, until the second between when I select Update and it returns to the View mode. The file remains as before (first image) in View mode.
