Email notifications for a team calendar event I need to see, today?

I can see its possible to watch calendars and be notified when changes occur .... thats not what I want here. We have a blog schedule calendar. Our social media staff member creates entries in the calendar for each member of staff to blog every so often. I want to make sure that the person who is blogging that day receives an email in the morning telling them of the event! How can I do this?

What you want is not possible at the moment, but there is a feature request that you can vote/comment on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-186.
