Editing the 'All updates' section from default dashboard in Confluence

jkaiser January 3, 2020

Hello everyone,

i have a question concerncing the confluence wiki "All updates" section on the dashboard.

The following is the scenario.

I have a group of users, which are only allowed to access a certain space in the wiki.
They see updates concerning that space in the "All updates" section.

However what they can also see, is whenever any other wiki user updated their profile (even if those users don't have access to the space, my usergroup is restricted to).

This update post containts the profile picture of that user, their username, and the date their profile was updated.

I don't want those users to see profile updates.
It would also be fine, if there was a way to just remove those profile-update-messages in general.

Can someone tell me the, if there is any way to do this - and if so: how? Can you please give detailed instructions?
Or do I have to put those users in a different user directory to solve this?

Thank you!

greetings
