I edit the Overview page for a Space. The edit seems to take, the name is changed. But when I publish the page it still has the original name, which is the name of the space.
Specifically, I called the space "PublicWiki". I then edited the Overview page to change the name to "Our Wiki Home". It shows that way on the edited page. If I go to the Space Tools the Home Page is "Our Wiki Home"
Yet, when the page is viewed the title remains "PublicWiki".
I'm new to Confluence. Am I missing something fundamental?
Jim
Hi,
the Overview page shows the space title and not the page title. If you want its name to be changed to "Our wiki Home", you have to change the space name from the "Space tools" option then "Space details" tab.
Hope this helps
Bruno
Thanks. That worked. I had been to the space tools page, but the little [edit] link was visually very close to the Space Logo and I assumed that was just to change the logo. For a newbie it would be better to have the [edit] link float further to the right so it's obvious that it edits all fields on that page.
Thanks again for the help.
Jim
