During editing a global template Edit ‘Include Page’ Macro constantly provides an error : Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found, however page from a different space is successfully added, the space permissions are exactly the same as the second one, i am also able to get to this page directly.
Hello @Pavel_Piguylevski !
I am not sure if I fully understand the current situation. Please allow me to ask a few questions:
- Are you trying to include the “Include Page Macro” inside a Page Template when the issue happens?
- Are you trying to use the “Include Page Macro” when editing a page created with a template?
- Are you still able to use the “Include Page Macro” in newly created pages?
- What happens if you try to add another page while following the procedure that leads to the behavior you described?
- Could you describe step by step what was done to achieve the described behavior?
I tried to replicate what I understood from the issue by doing the following:
- Create two new pages
- Publish them
- In one of the, use the “Include Page Macro” pointing to the other page
- Rename the page included within the macro
The final result was that Confluence automatically updated the macro so it would display the renamed page correctly.
Looking forward to your reply!
Dear Diego,
Here are the steps to reproduce:
Thx
Pavel
