Error have started to appear on Confluence site
Error rendering macro 'blog-posts' : java.lang.RuntimeException: Hystrix circuit short-circuited and is OPEN
Error rendering macro 'recently-updated' : com.atlassian.confluence.search.v2.InvalidSearchException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Hystrix circuit short-circuited and is OPEN
Error while fetching page properties report data: Internal Server Error
What has happened?
Tonight Atlassian reported an incident on https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/ about degraded performance impacting search capabilities and signups. The error in the macros also mentions:
com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.exceptions.BadRequestException: CQL was parsed but the search manager was unable to execute the search.
This affects native Confluence macros and third-party apps relying on CQL. They will return the error as they get no response for displaying results.
Today in the course of the morning, there were still short-lived issues, also with our apps, but in the meantime, no macro showed the error anymore. I hope it's the same for you.
Best, Max
Can you please verify that you are working on a confluence cloud? Is your product url e.g.: yourdomain.atlassian.net/wiki/ or a complete custom url?
